California’s Agricultural Labor Relations Board (“ALRB”) won the first round of a legal attack on the rights of farmworkers to unionize. The lawsuit by farming businesses would make it more difficult for union organizers to contact farmworkers - many of whom must find temporary work and shelter in suspect conditions on the landowners' farms they must work.
